Hunched Rat Lake is a lake shaped like a hunched rat, situated in The Southern Tip. Like those other weird phenomena you see on Google Earth, this lake was shaped like a hunched over rat by nature. Oddly enough, this place also actually attracts rats by the dozen. A cruel twist of faith we've written in here, huh? The trash from the nearby Camp of the Furry Nomads gets thrown into the lake quite liberally. The nomads themselves also typically take their once-a-month baths in the lake. The exfoliating process can get quite messy, which is just what the rats like.

Some people claim to have seen giant rats the size of small dogs. The local authorities have tried to clean up the lake and get rid of the rats, but their efforts have been in vain. The rats seem to have a strange hold over the lake, and no matter how many traps or poisons are used, they always seem to return in greater numbers. Some say that the Hunched Rat Lake is cursed, and that those who dare to venture too close to its shores will suffer the same fate as the rats. Others claim that it is a portal to another realm, and that the rats are simply the vanguard of a much greater evil. Whatever the truth may be, one thing is certain: the Hunched Rat Lake is a place to be avoided at all costs.
